1.About these terms

These terms apply to everyone who books, visits or takes part in an experience at Colour Collab, Melrose Arch, Johannesburg ("Colour Collab", "we", "us"). They are read together with our Privacy Policy and any house rules shown at the venue.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

2.Bookings & payment

• Bookings are confirmed once payment (or a deposit, where stated) has been received.
• Prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
• Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your session. Late arrivals may have a shorter session so that the next group can start on time.
• Session times, group sizes and inclusions are as described at the time of booking.

3.Cancellations & changes

• You may reschedule or cancel a booking by contacting us before your session. Notice periods and any fees will be shown when you book.
• Party and event bookings may require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date and set-up.
• If we have to cancel for reasons within our control, we will offer you a new date or a full refund.

4.Children & supervision

• Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, or an adult who has their permission, for the duration of the visit unless an experience states otherwise.
• Some experiences have age guidelines for safety and enjoyment. Please check them when booking.
• The accompanying adult remains responsible for the children in their care.

5.Paint, clothing & mess

Making a mess is part of the fun. We provide protective wear where it is part of the experience, but paint can still reach clothing, shoes, hair and personal items.

Please wear clothes you don't mind getting messy. Most of our paints are water-based and washable, but we can't guarantee that every stain will wash out.

6.Safety & house rules

• Please follow staff instructions and any signage at the venue.
• Paint stays in the activity areas: no throwing paint at people's faces, and no taking paint out of the rooms.
• Let us know about any allergies or sensitivities before your session.
• Colour Collab is a fully licensed restaurant and bar. Alcohol is only sold to persons aged 18 or older, and we may ask for valid ID. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated.
• We may refuse entry or end a session for anyone behaving unsafely or disrespectfully, or who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

7.Photos & filming

You're welcome to take photos and videos of your own group. We may occasionally photograph or film activities for marketing. We will ask before featuring anyone recognisable, and we will never use images of children without a parent or guardian's consent.

8.Personal belongings & liability

Please keep valuables with you or in the storage provided. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings, or for paint on clothing and items.

Taking part in active, hands-on experiences carries some risk. To the extent permitted by law, you participate at your own risk, except where loss or injury is caused by our negligence.

9.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
